Setup

Get this EverQuest Legends log parser on your character log so DPS shows up in the pull — not after the raid.

Windows

EQ Legends + EQL Meter on the same box. No Node, Rust, or Git.

  1. Download EQL.Meter_*_x64-setup.exe from the latest release
  2. Run the installer (current user — no admin)
  3. Start EQL Meter → Find Legends log
  4. Open Overlay → enable click-through

Ready when

  • EQ logging is on
  • Meter shows Monitoring + your character name
  • Overlay open + click-through
  • EQ windowed or borderless

Log path

C:\Users\Public\Daybreak Game Company\Installed Games\EverQuest Legends\Logs
eqlog_<Character>_<Server>.txt

Example: eqlog_Kenkyo_Freeport.txt

Mac + Parallels

No Mac installer. Releases are Windows-only. Clone and run from source while EQ is in the VM.
git clone https://github.com/kpxcoolx/eql-meter.git
cd eql-meter
npm install
npm run tauri:dev
  1. Keep the VM up so C: stays mounted under /Volumes
  2. Click Live Parallels (or Monitor → Live Parallels log)
  3. Fight — meter should move within ~150ms

Fallback: Choose log… under /Volumes/[C] Windows 11.hidden/Users/Public/Daybreak Game Company/Installed Games/EverQuest Legends/Logs/
